Presently I mow 2.0mph-2.5mph LOW range using the "rabbit" on the HST with engine @ 2K RPM's and PTO anout 400......this feels about right for the tractor. 2) Is it better the run the HST at higher RPM's for cooling when mowing and using the FEL. 3) Is it OK to run the engine for long periods of time at 2600-2800 RPM's ..... thanks............tom...........
